L. Keith Jordan Overview:
When properly designed, interactive spreadsheets can create a better experience for the user, standardizing input; checking for input errors; and guiding the user by providing feedback and instructions. This allows lower skilled personnel to perform tasks normally requiring higher skill levels; allows spreadsheets to be designed once and used multiple times by multiple users; and allows users to focus on the task to be accomplished rather than the means of accomplishing that task.
Part 1 of this course will focus on interactive techniques that can be used to create these spreadsheets.
But what if migration is needed between spreadsheet products and code script is involved? What if the amount of code script is significant?
Part 2 of this course will also explore code script migration and ways to address the issue.
Why you should Attend:
Describe and use interactive spreadsheet design techniques necessary to create an interactive financial spreadsheet document, and discuss how to migrate code script between spreadsheet applications.
